tips for 
applying

• Sending URL links:  Make sure your links work and are shareable.  "Unlisted" on YouTube is a great way to send a submission video that you don't want to be public.

• Make sure your live video is actually LIVE: It's okay if your live video isn't performed to a live audience, but please make sure that it represents what you sound like live.

      *No auto-tune please!*​

• Do you have original music? You are welcome to perform a cover song, but we highly encourage and support original music at LowerDeck Sessions.  Sets are typically 20- 30 minutes, so make sure you have enough material!

 

• Think about your stage plot: We film and record one song from your set.  It is totally up to you if you want to do stripped down or full band. This video could be very helpful for your EPK or sending to other venues, so just keep that in mind!

Application Review Process: 

We review every single application, while carefully considering which artists are a good fit, and which artists make sense at each individual show.  This process may take up to several weeks.  If we don't reach out to you to perform at a show, don't be discouraged!  Feel free to apply again in the future with new material to share.  Artists like you are what make LowerDeck Sessions happen and we appreciate you!
